NAS Parallel Benchmark (2.4) on BlueGene at Argonne

 http://www.nas.nasa.gov/Software/NPB

The NAS Parallel Benchmarks are commonly used for the performance evaluation of highly parallel supercomputers. These benchmarks consist of five parallel kernels and three simulated application benchmarks. We have run the following six benchmarks from version 2.4 on the BlueGene at Argonne. The compiler flags -O3 -qarch=440d -qtune=440 -qbgl -qmaxmem=64000 were used with the out-of-the-box version of the code. The BlueGene runs are for co-processors mode except when more than 1024 processors are used. The Cray X1 and SGI Altix numbers are from http://www.csm.ornl.gov/~dunigan/cray/ (thanks to Thomas H. Dunigan for these numbers).
