BG/L PerformanceBlueGene/L is a high-performance parallel computer that achieves high performance in a relatively small space and with relatively low power requirements. A single rack contains 1024 nodes; each node contains 2 PowerPC processors, each with 2 floating point (multiply and add) units. These processors run at 700 MHz, giving a peak performance of 5.6 Tflops per rack.Performance TestsA description of the performance tests describes the initial set of test programs.DocumentsDocumentsGeneral DocumentsLocal Documents (ANL only) |
