Lisa C. Childers

In 2013 I joined the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (LCF) and have recently been working as a developer in the Advanced Integration Group on workload and resource management. Example works-in-progress:

From 2003-2013 I worked in Ian Foster's Distributed Systems Lab in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division (MCS) with members of the Globus Alliance on issues related to distributed systems and Globus Software. Past work included producing the Globus Toolkit 4.0 release, co-authoring a book on GT4, and talking with users of distributed computing technology to learn more about their requirements. The latter conversations lead to the creation of a user-friendly high-performance file transfer service, still in use today.

From 1997-2003 I worked in Rick Stevens' Futures Lab group (also within MCS.) While there I helped co-found the super awesome Access Grid (citation)

Before that I was a developer for SPSS Inc (subsequently bought by IBM)
