Hi Andrew and AG developers,
I have not posted messages to this list since last month, as you were
really busy with work related to Portal Access Grid release. First of
all, I hope everything is success in relation to that. Second, I would
like to share with all of you, our achievements until now, everything
thanks to your help:
- One of our developers has been working in sending audio and video
with rtp multicast using JMF. I knew today, that it finally works.
- We have implemented a simple Jabber client for holding text
conversations in virtual venues. We are now working in integrating all
this work in our gui prototype.
I think that in one week, we will have a simple but functional
prototype for an AG 3 client, however information about venue state
and members is not available yet as we are waiting for the help you
promised. For development and preliminary testing, we are assuming an
static list of participants, but we cannot manage events, so I would
like to know if we can count on your help again and when exactly, as
our deadline is closer everyday.
Finally, I would like to thank all of you (especially Thomas :-) and
Andrew) again for your help.
