[AG-TECH] venue client only sees some local nodes but all video/audio streams ok?

hi,

for some reason just today,  my windows AG node can only see itself and 
another linux
node in the same physical room/subnet as participants in the AG venue 
client listing.
this is in the RIT Venue on the ANL server.

the linux node can see itself, the windows node, and one other linux 
node on campus. but
there are half a dozen other windows nodes on campus, whose video 
streams all show up in both the
windows and linux nodes in the RIT Venue.

both the linux and windows nodes see many streams and participants in 
the ANL Lobby.

there's something going on locally, i presume, but i have no idea what.

any clues?
