Nic, Copy the attached file to /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/lib/python2.3/ and you should be good to go. You will find a file there called compileall.pyo, but this one with the .py extension needs to be there for the installer to work. I had the same problem myself. Good luck.
