Re: [AG-TECH] Microphone recommendations

Hi
We wanted to do the same in the past but as John said there is a general feeling that they are more trouble than they are worth.Short battery life etc.
However
We have a RAV900 system from Clearpoint which is a good solution. The microphones daisy chain together to a control unit which then has a wireless connection back to a echo cancelling unit attached to the PC.
If you have a small room then you can also get a RAV600.
Hope this helps
Mike

Quoting Jeremy Mann <jeremymann@xxxxxxxxx>:

I've been assigned to design and install AG systems in several
existing conference rooms for different departments here on campus.
One design they all agree on, is the lack of or sparse use of cables.
The one portable AG node I built several years ago is not pleasing to
the eye at all because of all the cables.

I'm interested to hear if anyone else has built or is using wireless
table top microphones, or a combination of wireless microphones with
built-in echo cancellation.

Any brand recommendations?
