[AG-TECH] AG 3 question

I'm trying to install the AGVCR launcher and receive this message:

bdr$ sudo ./agpm3.py -f ~/sandbox/agvcr-2.1.2/AGVCR_Launcher1.2.zip
Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "./agpm3.py", line 25, in ?
   import agversion
ImportError: No module named agversion

any hints?
