[AG-TECH] Re: AGVCR Question

Hi Todd,

Currently, it does not do that, but from how AGVCR works from the 2.0 level now it might not be impossible to implement at some point.

Hey Derek,

Is it possible to real time stream out of AGVCR to different ip/ports than incoming?

I'm wondering this because we have a upcoming seminar series that we would also like to webstream
via a Darwin Streaming Server.

We have successfully tested the ability to use vic/rat as the webstream source; however, since we
are also AG'ing these seminars, it makes sense to just use the existing feeds from the main host
site rather than having to duplicate the streams. My thought is it would be nice to have a machine
that runs something like AGVCR (or perhaps rc bridge like) that would just accept incoming streams
from a multicast (or bridge) source, parse out a single selected video and audio stream and resend
them out to a different unicast destination.

Anyone have any ideas?

Todd
