Re: [AG-TECH]Runtime Error

This error has a couple common causes:

- Having the camera unplugged
- Having the wdm/vfw mapper set improperly (remedy this by selecting in vic
Menu/Options/ConfigureOnTransmit, then press the transmit button and
follow prompts to select the correct device (presumably a different--and
   invalid--device was selected).

(There may be others...)

I am getting the same error on one of our XP Pro SP2 that uses a Sony EVI-100 camera with a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150. This is a Dell machine. Another machine running the same AGTk 2.4 system in our department is fine.
Please, help.

Hello AGTech,

On a WinXP PIG running AGtk 2.4, I am getting a Microsoft Visual C++ runtime Library error. The error follows as Program:…tion Data\AccessGrid\local_services\VideoService\vic.exe

Note this is a IBM thinkpad. I did remove python 2.2 python….= 1 in the path variables and reinstalled the AGtk 2.4. The PIG worked great afterwards. Now I am getting this error shown above. I reinstalled the AGtk and I am still getting this error. Any ideas?

Thank you,

John
