Hi Steven:

Do you have the Globus data management client package installed that's a prereq 
for the AG software?
Do you have any additional globus software installed?
Which version of swig?

The AG toolkit doesn't require gassCache, gassServerEZ, myproxy, gramClient, or 
rlsClient, so it does
not build the pyGlobus support for them.  (There is a 'clean' step, in which it 
will report building or having built
all of the modules.)

If you have a log of the emerge, that might also be helpful.
