Agreed on the crashing.  Our venueserver hasn't had any problems and it 
runs 24/7.  It usually only needs to be restarted about once ever month or 
so...

Concerning configuration and setup, our main venueserver runs on the same 
machine as one of our bridges, while a second machine serves mostly as a 
second bridge (geographically separated) but can serve as a backup 
venueserver in times of crisis.

One machine is a P3 1Ghz, the other a P4 2.8Ghz, both with 2 GB of mem.

Neither has had an issue with performance and we host some fairly large 
meetings occassionally...
