Hello gusain!
It sems to be different in your case, as you
described the problem being caused by uploading the file which does not succeed
in your case.
In any case having the log files make analysis
of the problem easier.
Have you tried to upload plain text files and
opening them by double clicking them in the data store?
If that does not succeed it might be a problem with
general data store upload procedure.
In the end it would be helpful to have a look at
your log file.
In contrast to Michael Blodget's problem you can
still open a presentation if you load it from a webserver as you decsribed
it, so I assume
that SharedPresentation in general is working
correctly. I would advise checking the data store upload.

presentation fails to load presentation
Hello Michael,
I'm not using win2k and yet i'm also
facing the same problem.
But when I try to load file present on a
webserver, there seems to
be no problem. But when I upload local file
it doesn't get uploaded.
Need I send you the Log
file.
Thanks

SharedPresentation

Can not load presentation
states that an OLE automation error
(-2147352567) occured, which is caused within the OLE component of
Powerpoint. I found a link to a forum discission where a reference is
made to different MDAC versions installed on your machines. Possibly that
would be a point to checkout. If thats the case maybe you should consider
upgrading your MDAC component. Still there seem to be other
possibilities. I add the link to the foruum discussion for reference and
hope it helps. http://www.mail-archive.com/vbpro_databases@p2p.wrox.com/msg00383.html
