previous location or wired LAN is saved in the node
configuration rather than localhost. Then if the venue client can't
contact the node manager it may take a very long time to timeout.


Something to look out for - and it would be nice if these things did not
block the main venue client process.
I've mixed 3G, wired and wireless all on the same laptop with AG2 and not
seen this behaviour.  AG over 3G was a thoroughly entertaining experience
though ;)
