Running BoilerMaker in a CAVE

To run BoilerMaker in the CAVE, be sure that you have configured the run script to indicate which machines to run the various processes on.

  1. Remove your .caverc file from your home directory (or move it to a temporary file)
  2. Change directories to the toplevel BoilerMaker directory (which should contain the executable BMx)
  3. Type ./run
    NOTE: The run script is configured to run in a window simulator by default.
To run BoilerMaker on the Idesk or in the CAVE, edit the MODE variable in the run script to be "idesk" or "cave", respectively and turn the stereo mode on.
