Learning about Multicast

• Kevin Almeroth has done alot of work with multicast recently. Based on this he's given a talk at the Berkeley Multimedia Research Center.
• Larry Rowe has also give a couple of talks on multicast, which are also available from the Berkeley Multimedia Research Center.

Learning about ACE

The best way to learn about ACE is to grab a copy then go through the tutorials. After that, the ACE Programmers Guide will be an invaluable reference to get started, along with the doxygen documentation. These can all be found at the following locations:

From the Multiparty Multimedia Session Control Working Group (mmusice) of the IETF:

• The Session Announcement Protocol (rfc 2974)

From the Audio/Video Transport Working Group (avt) of the IETF:
